Interests: As anelectedlocal legislator and licensed professional Environmental Planner, to properly set policies and directions for the sustainable management and development of the country's limestone/karstic formation particulary the Samar Karst (or Sohoton Karst) which is the largest karst formation in the Philippines found in the Island of Samar and which our municipality of Basey has the biggest share of karst/limestone area. One of the known features of this karst resource is the world famous Sohoton Natural Bridge National Park established in 1935. In August 1995, I discovered/explored the Rawis Caves which is the best and multi-featuring cave ecosystem of the country with cave pearls, sub-channels, skylight, multiple openings, gorgeous stalactites and stalagmites, bats and others.
