Karrenfeld; Karren field
(German.) An area of limestone dominated by karren . These appear as bare karst and consist of the sum of exposed and half-exposed karren, occasionally also of covered karren which have become exposed. They range in size from a few hectares to a few hundred square kilometers . Synonym: (Turkish.) erime olugu alani. See also clint; grike.
